Here are a few gifts are on my list this holiday and why they should be on yours:
Xbox One
On the top of my list is the Xbox One. I love all of the active games that get me moving! The Xbox One was built by gamers, for gamers. Please not that for online play to be more enjoyable you need a keyboard to chat quickly, luckily there are tons of keyboards that are cool to browse. The Xbox One features the all of the best games like Halo, Sunset Overdrive,, Madden 15 NBA 2K15, Fantasia: Music Evolved, my favorite Just Dance 15 and more.
Perfect gift for: The whole family.
The Xbox one is perfect for the whole family! As a busy professional who works from home, I love all of the Just Dance games. The game is the perfect way to keep in shape during the winter months when I need to get moving, but don’t have time or desire to run out in the cold to the gym in the middle of the day. My niece loves all of the action games and my brother is a big fan of the sports titles.
In addition to being a great gaming console, the Xbox One connects to the internet, allowing you to stream your favorite movies, music and other content through Netflix and Youtube. It’s even on sale right now at Best Buy for $50 off.
JBL Speakers and Earbud
Here are a few gift ides from JBL for your music loving friends and family!
JBL Charge 2
Between the twin passive radiators for deep bass, the massive battery which provides up to 12 hours of continuous playback and recharge, JBL takes portable, wireless, Bluetooth speakers to the next level. One of the key benefits is the Bluetooth Social Mode which allows up to three different users to take their turns to play their own playlists on a single speaker.
Perfect gift for: College kids, friends who work at an ad agency, start-up or home office.
At a price point of around $149, the JBL Charge 2 Speakers are a great option for a high-end gift for anyone who works in a small office (like your agency or start-up friends and associates) home office, for your kid’s dorm room or just anyone who likes to listen to music on the go. You can even charge your devices via the speaker’s USB ports and take calls via the hands-free conference speaker phone.
The speakers come in a variety of colors including red, blue, purple, stainless and black.
JBL Flip 2
If you’re looking for a more economical gift option, the JBL Flip2 is the way to go. Aside from the dual performance-tuned JBL drivers and a built-in bass port, the key benefit of the JBL Flip 2 is the SoundClear echo and noise cancellation combined with the state-of the art microphone system to pick up calls on the speaker.
Perfect gift for: Same audiene as the JBL Charge 2, just at a lower price point.
The speakers cost around $89.99 (they are on sale right now) and come in a variety of colors including blue, red, stainless and black.
JBL Reflect Earbud headphones feature a sweat proof ergonomic design. With a 5 hour rechargeable battery and a reach of about 40 feet, the JBL Reflect BT’s key benefit is the design of the ergonomic eartips along with the built-in magnets which keep your buds on standby without loose cables.
Perfect gift for: Friends / family working in shared office, athletic friends, friend who are on the go.
This gift is perfect for anyone working in a shared office space, or at home with the kids where they count on listening to music to help them focus. In addition to listing to music, you can also take calls via the earbuds, making it perfect for business, relaxing or a workout.

Garmin and TomTom
If you are like most of our readers, you are pretty tech-savvy and you use you phone for your GPS navigation. Well, stand alone GPS devices are still a hot gift. I was recently at home visiting my parents and my mom and I were headed out to an event at a location she wasn’t familiar with. She got into the car with printed out directions from mapquest. I showed her the GPS on my phone and we had fun navigating to our location listening to the turn by turn directions. She’s not in the market for smart phone, but loved the idea of having a GPS in the car.
Perfect gift for: Anyone who doesn’t have a smart phone and spends time on the road.
