The Associate Marketing Manager will lead the planning and execution of volume and profit driving initiatives for in store bakery cookies and the Lofthouse Brand across multiple channels with support of Business Unit Manager, field sales and the cross-functional team. Gain broad exposure to all functional activities including sales and customers, operations, product development, supply chain, and finance, which results in the development of strong marketing and general management skills. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
Support the development of annual business plan and multi-year strategic plans
Execute plans for assigned product lines/ channels to deliver against plan objectives
Act as the project leader/ manager for business development and cost-savings initiatives, acting as the key cross-functional
go-to person for project decisions, guidance, communication and management
Provide ongoing reporting and analysis of category data and segments to identify product and competitive strengths and weaknesses, identify growth opportunities and defense strategies as needed
Monitor and report out on competitive activity and implications
Partner with sales and channel marketing to understand key account strategies and identify and implement appropriate category management solutions for optimizing account performance
Leverage consumer insights, IRI and other available data to provide selling stories for key initiatives
Use multiple data sources to identify new product opportunities and support development of the product pipeline
Manage the product launches from concept through commercialization – including positioning, product and package development, pricing strategy, go-to-market tactics and performance tracking
Development & execution of Lofthouse branded strategy including assortment optimization, distribution road map, online presence (website, social media, etc.), promotional optimization and pricing structure
Important Details: Bachelor’s Degree Required: Marketing/Business emphasis preferred; Master’s degree a plus.
You must have a minimum 3 years of experience in product/category management experience in a consumer-packaged goods food
